Contribute to the 2024 CRC Symposium Program

Your perspective on robotics matters.

Ensure your point of view reaches decision makers by contributing to our open call for case studies, roundtable topics and exhibits.

HOW IT WORKS

1

Submit a case study, roundtable topic, or exhibit to our 2024 Symposium. Submissions will be reviewed and selected based on fit for the event, quality of submission, and complementarity with other submissions.

2

Join us in person in Toronto, where you can share your latest developments, and discuss challenges and insights with senior Canadian robotics ecosystem stakeholders and decision makers. With your help we will capture the most salient insights and recommendations from our community.

3

Be featured in our Post-Symposium Report, which will be broadly circulated to the Council’s network of executives, senior officials and decision makers from industry, funders, academia, and relevant government agencies.

Submission and Selection Process

  • All submissions must be received by the submission deadline for consideration in the 2024 Symposium and post-event report.

  • All successful submissions will be notified by the notification date and will be published on the Symposium event page.

  • If your submission is selected for inclusion in the live event program, you will be required to submit your final presentation material by May 24, 2024 for inclusion in our program.

  • Due to the limited number of speaking slots at the Symposium, quality submissions that are not offered a spot in our live event will be included in the 2024 post-event report, and will become part of our general library for future reference. For this reason, confidential or copyrighted content should not be submitted, as the Canadian Robotics Council may republish the information you submit in a variety of ways.

  • While all quality case study and roundtable submissions will be considered for our live event, submissions from event sponsors and CRC members will be prioritized. As a Symposium sponsor or Council Member, you are helping support Council activities and the future of a thriving robotics ecosystem in Canada.

  • To make a submission, use the Case Study, Roundtable or Exhibitor forms. If you are planning to sponsor the event, please indicate so on the forms.

  • You may make multiple program submissions, but please do so separately; we accept only one case study, roundtable topic, or exhibition per form submission.

Sponsor your case study, roundtable topic or exhibit for greater visibility at the event and in the post-symposium report.
Only quality submissions will be included in the program. Sponsorship does not guarantee inclusion.

Case study / lightning talk

Showcase how your robot technology delivered real ROI in a 5-minute lightning talk on our main stage.

Our live program will feature up to a dozen 5-minute lightning talks that clearly demonstrate how robots are making a positive difference to the organisations that adopt them.

We welcome concise, value-driven case study submissions from Canada and around the globe. Value can be defined in terms of productivity, safety, job satisfaction, efficiency, or by other means, but it should always be real and measurable.

Lightning talks will be selected based on a clear description of the pain points, and how your robot solution directly impacted business metrics and/or provided human/social benefits to stakeholders.

Robotics Expert Roundtables

Host 90 minutes of close-knit conversation on the topic of your choice:

  • Mix and Mingle: Two separate back-to-back 45-minute sessions

  • Power Session: One 90-minute session, consisting of two 45-minute blocks

Seeking partners on a project? Feedback on your roadmap or strategy? Help understanding a challenge your organisation is facing? An opportunity to share your perspective on a focused topic or issue with a group of likeminded robotics stakeholders?

Submit a roundtable topic for inclusion in our program and leverage the expertise of our network to get the insights, answers, feedback and visibility you’re looking for.

Our live program will feature multiple roundtable discussions that will run concurrently during the afternoon session.

We are seeking roundtable topics that bring Canadian robotics stakeholders together to share knowledge, develop partnerships and build consensus or perspective on issues of a policy, technical, or business-focused nature.

All accepted proposals will be published on the event webpage and will also appear in the printed program to attract participants to your session.

Robot Exhibition

Showcase your technology to the Canadian robotics ecosystem.

We will have a limited number of robot exhibition spots during both days of our event.

June 13 - Networking & VC Social (evening only)

SMEs will receive special rates if selected to participate in the VC exhibition. Limited spots for exhibitors will be available, so an exhibit proposal is required. Proposals will be reviewed and selected based on fit for the event.

June 14 - Main Symposium (full day)

Main event sponsors are automatically eligible to participate in the VC robot exhibition AND the main event exhibition as part of their sponsorship package. Limited spots for exhibitors will be available, so an exhibit proposal is required. Proposals will be reviewed and selected based on fit for the event.

Not ready to submit a proposal yet? Declare your intent. It just takes a minute!

We'll send you sponsorship options and a reminder to submit your proposal closer to the submission deadline.
